Early Steps

Early Steps provides services to families with infants and toddlers aged birth to three years (36 months) who have a medical condition likely to result in a developmental delay or who have developmental delays. Services are provided in the child’s natural environment.

Child Search

The Iberia Parish School DIstrict Special Education department is required by the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act to identify, locate and evaluate children ages three to five years of age who are suspected of having a disability. With parent permission, children are evaluated to see if a child qualifies for services.
