Jump Start is Louisiana’s innovative career and technical education (CTE) program.  Iberia Parish School System does not discriminate in its CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS. The Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) approved 11 Jump Start 2.0 pathways.

To satisfy the requirements of the Jump Start Pathways, Iberia Parish Schools offers enrollment in a variety of programs that are designed to equip students with work and life skills. The career programs available in all secondary schools in Iberia Parish include Business Management, Health Occupations, Family and Consumer Science, Technology, and Trade and Industry. Admission is available to all students regardless of RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX OR DISABILITY. Eligibility criteria for enrollment in courses within Iberia Parish School System’s Career and Technical Education Programs can be found in all high school handbooks.

Information provided to the LLA Hotline may result in an investigation, audit or other review. When providing information to the LLA Hotline, please include sufficient detail (describing who, what, where, when, why and how) to allow us to fully evaluate your information.  Although we will consider anonymous information, providing us with your name and telephone number will allow us to contact you with any additional questions that we have.
